The one who takes limited food, spends time with nature, works consciously and fully aware of good and bad, who does charity to the deserved in a limit, one who treats all the beings alike, tells only truth all the time, one who has patience, one who can forgive, one who takes care of the loved - will never suffer with a disease.
What Acharya Vagbhata said holds good even today as many diseases are attributed to poor life style. Poor lifestyle is THE MOST important risk factor for overweight and obesity. Obesity by itself is now recognised as a disease by World Health Organisation (WHO) and forms one of the risk factors for many other diseases like infertility, cardiac failure, diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnoea etc.
